Audit warehouse receiving, classification, and repacking processes.
Develop continued improvement processes as to all operations.
Based on performed engineering audits, design and implement production methods, processes and flows that optimize the effective and efficient use of resources to meet demand profiles.
Design and implement planning and control systems to minimize and resolve production issues.
Project costs to sustain low variation processes with minimal waste.
Design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities to ensure product quality.
Troubleshoot industrial process problems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolve process engineering issues.
Create systems and plan production to ensure all products meet quality control standards.
Partner with supplier quality and US compliance regulatory agencies to ensure correct standards.
Provide technical engineering guidance on produce sorting and processing machinery, including line layout specifications, while ensuring adherence to the Company and industry standards, as well as federal and state guidelines.
Coordinate shipments and distributions, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities, such as shelf-life durability of products.
Travel to the Mexican states of Baja California and Veracruz every other month for 3 to 7 business days at the time. Plus, travel to Miami, FL three times a year for approximately one business week at a time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related area
of study and 24 months in position(s) involving production
planning, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution.
